5280 UTV Repair & Oils LLC is a small side-by-side shop in Colorado Springs. Two people, both of whom spend their weekends on the same trails as the machines that come in.
Most of what comes through the door isn't exotic. It's a belt that let go halfway through a run, an accessory install that was wired into the wrong circuit, or a machine that ran hot because the radiator packed with dust and nobody noticed.
Altitude and Colorado dust are harder on a side-by-side than the service manual assumes. Intervals written for sea level and clean air don't survive a summer of Front Range trail miles, and a lot of the failures we see are really just maintenance that came due earlier than the book said it would.
We quote before we work. You get told what we found, what it needs, and what it costs, and nothing gets touched until you've agreed to it. If we think a repair isn't worth doing, we'll say so.
We also carry AMSOIL and Lucas Oil products, and we run them in our own machines.
